Baramouda Joins Forces to Shape the Future of Organic Waste in Egypt
We are proud to be part of the Waste to Value journey! 🌍
Last week, Baramouda participated in a high-impact follow-up workshop under the OW2V Forum (Organic Waste to Value), a national initiative that brought together key players from the private sector, SMEs, government institutions, and academia to collaboratively explore and define innovative solutions for Egypt’s organic waste sector.
This dynamic event took place as part of a broader movement to accelerate circular economy practices, reduce environmental harm, and turn agricultural waste into high-value resources that fuel sustainable growth.
🌱 Why it matters:
- 🌍 Supporting national sustainability goals and climate-smart agriculture
- 🤝 Strengthening cross-sector collaboration
- 🔄 Driving the circular economy and waste valorization in Egypt
We extend special thanks to Omar Latif and Donia Tawakol from the Dutch Embassy in Cairo 🇳🇱 for their ongoing support and dedication to this vital sector. Your contributions continue to empower innovation and growth in Egypt’s green economy.
We also thank Chemonics Egypt Consultants for their excellent facilitation, guidance, and support throughout the workshop.
💡 Our Commitment in Action:
Baramouda was proudly represented by Mostafa Elnaby and Reham Yehia, whose contributions during the sessions reflected our mission to:
- ♻️ Turn organic waste into sustainable agricultural solutions
- 🌾 Improve soil health and productivity
- 🌍 Reduce the environmental footprint of farming in Egypt
This event served not only as a platform for knowledge exchange — but also as a catalyst for long-term impact.
