Job Purpose:

The Strategic Partnerships & Waste Sourcing Lead is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with companies, factories, and institutions that generate relevant waste streams. The role focuses on securing reliable and high-quality waste sources, building long-term partnerships, and continuously monitoring and analyzing data related to waste sourcing performance to support operational growth and decision-making.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Strategic Partnerships Development :

  • Identify and engage potential partners that generate organic or industrial waste aligned with Baramouda’s operations.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships based on shared value, sustainability goals, and operational alignment.
  • Support partnership negotiations and agreements in coordination with management and legal teams.

Waste Sourcing & Coordination :

  • Secure consistent volumes and suitable quality of waste in line with production requirements.
  • Coordinate with partners to improve waste segregation, handling, and readiness for collection.
  • Monitor waste availability, quality variations, and continuity of supply.

Data Analysis & Performance Tracking:

  • Track and analyze data related to sourced waste (volumes, quality, frequency, reliability, and costs).
  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities based on sourcing data.
  • Support forecasting and planning by providing data-driven insights to Operations and Supply Chain teams.
  • Prepare structured reports and dashboards for management review.

Partnership Follow-up & Development :

  • Act as the main point of contact for partners and ensure ongoing alignment with operational needs.
  • Monitor partner performance and compliance with agreed terms.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships (additional waste streams, higher volumes, or deeper collaboration).

Internal Alignment & Market Intelligence :

  • Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to align waste sourcing with production plans and product development.
  • Collect market intelligence on waste availability, competitive sourcing models, and emerging circular economy opportunities.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in partnerships, waste sourcing, industrial relations, business development, or similar roles.
  • Experience working with factories, large companies, or institutional partners is a strong advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to work with operational and sourcing data.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate insights into practical actions.
  • Good understanding of industrial and operational environments.
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and strong working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.

Work Location

Baramouda’s main production facility in 6th of October City, with availability and flexibility to travel to other operational sites inside and outside Egypt as required.
